Built with local stone and topped with a red tiled roof, the barn served as a storage area for hay, grain, and various farming tools. Its large wooden door allowed horse-drawn carts to enter. Inside, solid oak beams supported the structure, testifying to the building's robustness.
A complete renovation
During two years of meticulous work, the barn was transformed. Local craftsmen were able to preserve the soul of the place while providing modern comfort. The stone walls were consolidated, the original wooden beams restored and large bay windows were added to offer a breathtaking view of the park. A floor was created by raising the building, using burnt wood to bring a unique and contemporary touch to the structure. The interior, meanwhile, has been carefully designed, mixing old charm with contemporary touches.

Now, this old barn has become a dream vacation rental. Visitors can enjoy the tranquility of the village of Trémolat, relax by the pool or explore the surroundings rich in history and nature.
